JACC Design & Construction team has a goal of maximizing efficiency and boosting collaboration for each of JACC’s projects. Our Design team accomplishes this by utilizing the latest in value-added construction methodology and technology to help overcome any construction challenges.
During the design phase of a project, our staff manages architects and engineers' work to assure code-compliant projects that meet UTMB's and the user's needs for approved projects. During design, our project managers provide:
1 - Management of design services including oversight of architect/engineers
2 - Management of project scope, schedule and budget to approved project
3 - Communication to end users and appropriate executives
4 - Coordination of bids, contract awards, and contractor Notice to Proceed
5 - Integrate life safety, security and information services staffs into the project delivery process
